Hilbert College Athletics

Jerame Owens opened the AMCC portion of the basketball schedule with impressive numbers.  The junior forward averaged 22. 5 points and 11 rebounds per game as the Hawks took two wins last week.  Owens was 11 for 14 from the floor (knocking down one three pointer) and went 6 for 7 from the foul line to collect 29 points in Hilbert’s 90-84 victory over Medaille.  Three days later, he put together a 16 points/15 rebound effort and was credited with five blocks and four assists in Hilbert’s 74-71 dramatic road win at Mount Aloysius College.
