Nikolas D'Andrea (North Tonawanda, N.Y./North Tonawanda HS | Medaille) led the men's volleyball team with 35 kills (.378), 5.8 points per set (46.5 total points), and 11 service aces during the Hawks' season-opening 1–1 weekend. The 6-foot-5 opposite hitter recorded a career-high 30 kills on a .444 hitting percentage, along with four digs and seven service aces in a 3–2 victory over Houghton University. He added five kills and five digs in a 3–0 setback to SUNY Poly.
