Hilbert College Athletics

Tia Card (Burlington, ON / Dr. Frank Hayden Secondary School) was outstanding between the pipes Friday night against MCLA. The senior goaltender delivered a nearly flawless performance, leading the Hawks to a 3-1 victory and the program's first win since October 28, 2023. 

Card was poised and steady throughout the contest, stopping 17 shots over the first 33 minutes of action and entering the third period with 20 saves. Protecting a one-goal lead, the Hawks faced a relentless MCLA attack that produced 21 shots in the final period, but Card turned away every attempt. Her perfect third-period performance sealed the 3-1 win for Hilbert.
