Michaela Rice (North Collins, NY/North Collins) was a major contributor to the success the women's volleyball team had in the final week of their season. The 5-9 Middle Blocker was quick at the net, reacted well in crucial situations and propelled the team a pair of program firsts – a First Round playoff victory that led to an appearance in the AMCC semifinal game which resulted in a 3-2 loss.
She led the Hawks with 21 kills at an impressive .375 attack percentage while also adding five service aces, 12 digs and three total blocks. Rice recorded a team-high 27.5 points fueled by 2.63 kills/set and three block assists.
