Hilbert College Athletics

Ari Jones (Euclid, OH/Garfield Heights) was impressive in the second week of his college career.  The 6-3 freshman guard made his fourth consecutive start for the 3-1 Hawks and powered them to a pair of quality road game wins. Jones averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 rebounds while hitting a blistering 60% beyond the arc.  

The rookie sharpshooter converted 4-of-6 shots from the floor (2-for-4 three-point shots) in the 71-64 win at Fredonia State and made 5-9 (2-for-2) from the field in the 87-76 win at Elmira while averaging 21.5 minutes per game.
