Freshman Thomas Roty (Clarence, NY/Clarence) burst onto the collegiate cross country scene with a standout performance at the 17th Annual Meghan Memorial Race, earning an impressive 3rd place finish in a competitive field of 22 runners.

Roty clocked in at 16:44.8 in the 5K event, shattering the previous Hilbert College Men's Cross Country program record of 17:16, set in 2023 by Nick Baritot. His remarkable debut not only earned him a podium finish but also set a new standard for the program moving forward.
