Hilbert College Athletics

Tyler Hassell (Men's Volleyball) and George Muriel (Men's Volleyball) are being recognized for their athletic performances that led to their team's success last week.  The Hawks went 2-1 in their opening weekend appearance in the AMCC vs PAC two-day cross over event.  Hilbert dropped a 3-set match to Thiel Friday night but rebounded with a 3-0 victory over Geneva and outlasted Chatham in five sets on Saturday. 

Tyler Hassell (Angola, NY/Lake Shore | Medaille) exploded in dominating fashion last weekend for the Hawks.  The 6'3 Middle led Hilbert with 2.96 points per set off 26 kills (2.36 kills/set), seven total blocks, and two service aces.  He connected a team-best .426 attack percentage and added five digs, and an assist.
