Third-year Ryan Michelsen (Rochester, NY/Greece Odyssey Academy) clogged the middle defensively and battled for every second ball in two AMCC matches last week.  

The 5-8 middle helped lift the Hawks to a 2—nil home victory over Penn State Altoona, the first win since the 2014 season while his aggressive play set the 3-0 loss at Alfred State, the closest game score since the 2022 post-season contest.

Against Altoona, he tallied the second goal in the 30th minute then did everything in his power to keep the ball on Hilbert's offensive half the remainder of the contest.
