Maddie Fusco (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) returned to the track this spring in great shape, winning her first Indoor event of the 2024 season at the RIT Friday Invite February 9th.

The middle distance runner blew away her competition in the 1000m race, finishing a good 50-seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Fusco's 3:22.65 established a new program record in the 1000m after she broke her previous Mile record time, clipping the clock at 5:39.1.
