Hilbert College Athletics

Matthew Simon became the go-to guy for goal scoring for the men’s lacrosse team this week.  The rookie netted five goals in each of the two NEAC victories which propelled the Hawks to an undefeated record (3-0).  In both games, Hilbert came on strong in the fourth quarter to secure the wins and Simon led the charge with 3 goals in each fourth quarter.  He was all business when he had the ball close to frame as his shots-on-goal rate was 75%.  Hilbert took down local rival Medaille College (12-10) and Cobleskill (13-8) on the road.
