Senior Patrick Whelan (Buffalo, N.Y./Bishop Timon-Saint Jude) had an outstanding week at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, S.C.   The 6'3 first baseman finished the week posting a .444 batting average, .833 slugging percentage and 1.33 OPS after logging three multi-hit games.  Whelan scored three times, knocked in four runs after smacking four extra base hits, including a home run in the five games he played.
