In his second year at Hilbert, Briggs elevated his effort on the hardwood and his focus and determination to lift the Men’s Basketball program to its 10th consecutive Hawks Against Hunger Title game November 12th.
Quran Briggs, a 6’3 sophomore guard, led the Hawks in the two-day Tip Off Tournament averaging 17 points, 3.5 steals and 28 minutes per game. The Chance, MD (Mount Hebron) native tallied 18 points and added six steals in the Hawks 90-68 victory over SUNY Morrisville and then added 16 points, going 5-for-6 from the foul line in the Championship loss to nationally ranked RPI Engineers.
