Hilbert College Athletics

Senior Adam Weaver earned his fifth Hawk of the Week award after his large-and-in-charge performances last week helping the volleyball team secure their first-ever victory over D’Youville College.  In the three games played (2-1), the current Division III National Leader in kills/set, led Hilbert with a total of 73 kills (6.66 k/s) with an attack percentage of .352  and averaged 26.3 points per game (7.18 points/set).  Weaver opened the week with 18 kills and 10 digs in the three game sweep over D’Youville.  Over the weekend, he helped the Hawks rally from two-sets down to take the match from Wells College in five sets.  He spanked the Express for 30 kills.  Then, in the last match of the day, Weaver returned to form with 25 kills (.455) and 11 digs as Hilbert lost in three sets to Keuka.
