Goaltender Tia Card, (Ontario, CA Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School) was credited with 70 saves and an .864 save percentage in Hilbert College's inaugural women's hockey game October 28th against Alvernia University. The Hawks were bailed out numerous times in their defensive zone with some miraculous saves by the young netminder. Card garnered a lot of praise from both coaching staffs and fan bases after the game for her play in net.
