Third-year golfer Michael Petrus (North Collins, NY/North Colins) had a strong week posting a 4th place finish at the Elmira Invitational and a Top 26 overall finish at the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic over the weekend. In addition to carding his lowest of the season (79) at Elmira, Petrus finished tied for 3rd in a field of 68 golfers in most pars, parring on 22 of 36 holes played at the Sinking Valley Golf Course and the Summit Country Club.
