Hilbert College Athletics

Maddie Fusco, a first-year cross country competitor, crushed her competition at the Daniel Walker Race hosted by Buffalo State College at Beaver Island State Park September 3rd.  

The Hamburg native covered the 5K course in 21:02 and became the first Hilbert cross country runner to capture the individual title at the 36th annual race. 

Fusco built three-minute lead over the second-place finisher and her individual title helped lead the Hilbert women’s team take the team trophy.
