Jackson Choinski earned his first Hawk of the Week honor April 25.

The freshman from Wesley Chapel, Florida posted a .273 batting average in four games last week.

Choinski went 3 for 11 and knocked in one run as the Hawks went 1-3, earning a night cap victory over Penn State Altoona after dropping a pair to AMCC league-leaders Penn State Behrend.

His biggest moment came on Saturday afternoon at Penn State Altoona when he blasted his first career home run to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth in a seven-inning game. The Hawks went on to win 7-2.
