Hilbert College Athletics

Sal Carroccia opened his rookie campaign with two wins for Hilbert during their spring training trip to Florida.  The southpaw from St Francis High School saw the most action on the mound spanning 14.1 innings in the four games played with one start.  His 1.88 era tops the Hawks as does his 15 strike-outs and fewest walks (2).  Both wins were earned against Geneva College.  In the March 15th, 8-6 victory, the Lackawanna native tossed 8.2 innings with only one wild pitch with 9 strike-outs.
