Brad Converse was named the Hawk of the Week February 28.

The freshman from Wheatfield (Starpoint) earned his fourth Hilbert weekly honor after leading the men’s volleyball team through three matches last week.

The 6-3 Outside Hitter led with 2.91 kills per set and 1.91 digs per set after he earned 32 kills, 21 digs, five service aces, three assists, and three blocks in 11 sets.  Hilbert dropped a close 3-2 match to Medaille before suffering straight set defeats to Penn State Altoona and Thiel on the weekend.

Converse’s most productive match was against Thiel when he earned 3.67 kps along with 2.67 dps.
