Nevada Eldridge earned his first career Hawk of the Week February 7.

The 6-7 freshman from Cheektowaga Central High School helped guide the Hawks to a 2-0 week with victories over Alfred State and the upset win against top-seeded Penn State Behrend. 

Eldridge averaged 12 points, and 5.5 rebounds after scoring 24 points and swiping 11 rebounds in 45 minutes of action. 

Eldridge was force down low with a career high 15 points and six rebounds in the 71-70 win over Penn State-Behrend on Saturday after he tossed in nine points, going 3-for-4 from the floor, in Hilbert’s 94-73 victory against Alfred State mid-week.
