Shawn Gashi earned his second Hawk of the Week honor January 31.
The 6-2 guard from Bishop Grimes High School (Syracuse, NY) led the Hawks to a 1-1 record last week. His career-setting performance in the five-point loss to Medaille preceded his team’s overtime victory at La Roche on the weekend.
Gashi averaged 18 points, three rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game.
He recorded a season-high 30 points, while shooting 10-for-17 from the field and 8-for-9 from the line in a tough road loss. Gashi chipped in six points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal in the Hawks 88-85 win in Pittsburgh.
