Ashley Schroeder earned her second Hawk of the Week Honor this season as she continues to develop into a heady point guard for the basketball team.

She totaled 28 points, six rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists while committing only one turnover in 61 minutes of action.  The Caledonia, MN native averaged 14 points, three rebounds and a 2.0 assist to turnover average off one start last week.

Schroeder’s steady performance came through for the Hawks in both road games.  She hit big shots which kept the momentum flowing in Hilbert’s favor.  Schroeder sank 10-of-23 attempts finishing with a 43.5-percentage from the field and hit all six free throw attempts.

Schroeder is ranked in the top 7 in assist/turnover ratio (1.6).
