Senior PG Hunter Martineau collected his first Hawk of the Week honor after dishing out some impressive numbers last week on the hardwood.
The 5-11 Orlando, Fla (Timber Creek) native posted a Triple Double November 23rd after leading his Hawks to a 23-point AMCC victory mid-week. Martineau scored 31 points, dished 22 assists and grabbed 14 rebounds in Hilbert’s 2-0 week.
He averaged 15.5 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds in 27 minutes per game.
Martineau opened the week with 15 points, eight assists and four rebounds in the lop-sided 99-75 AMCC win over D’Youville before closing the week in high fashion.
He joined just four other Division III men’s players this winter when he posted his second-career Triple Double (16 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds) in the Hawks 98-97 victory over Keuka College.
Martineau, with at least 20 games left to play in his senior campaign, will graduate as the Hilbert College men’s basketball program’s career leader in Triple Doubles, now earning two in his four-year career.
