Nicholas Parucki's return to the hardwood made an immediate impact for the men’s basketball team as he earned his first Hawk of the Week honor this year.

The 6’6 forward averaged 20 points per game spanning this week’s 68-44 defeat against Franciscan and their 95-87 loss to No. 24 Middlebury before the semester break.

Parucki shot 50 percent from the field (15-30) and hit 4-of-8 shots beyond the arc.  Additionally, the West Seneca East native hit all six free throw attempts which kept the Hawks competitive in both games.

As he returns to game-shape coming back from a 2017-18 season ending injury, Parucki is shooting 53.2 percent from the field and 47.1 percent from downtown, raking him 4th in the AMCC league for long distance accuracy.
