Elijah Ryan made his second career start March 31 and his effort in the net helped him earn his first career Hawk of the Week honor.

The junior goalie from Brockport High School kept the men’s lacrosse team in the game in the first half against Alfred State. 

The Hawks slipped to the Pioneers in a 9-6 AMCC contest after spotting A-State seven goals.

Ryan faced 42 shots on the day, with 26 credited on goal.  He finished the game with a career-high 17 saves, making seven in the third quarter when Alfred State unleashed 10 shots on goal.
