Brooklynn Gormel hustled her way to her first Hawk of the Week honor in women’s lacrosse last week.

The 5-2 senior from Gates Chili led Hilbert offensively in their 13-3 Buffalo Cup defeat at D’Youville March 13.

Gormel scored one goal off of a career-high 10 shots. She also scooped six ground balls, caused two turnovers on defense and won a pair of draw controls.
