Morgan McNeill helped carry to the Hawks to a program best 6-5 record at the start of the softball season and earned her first Hawk of the Week honor.

The junior catcher led the Hawks with a .343 average with 12 hits, 3 doubles, 2 triples and 8 RBIs with only six strikeouts in 35 at bats.  She made only one error in 50 chances as the starting catcher.

The Wellsville native posted a big offensive game against Chatham March 8 when the Hawks came from behind to win 13-12.  She poked a triple and went 3-for-4 with a 1.250 slugging percent.

McNeill also knocked in 3 RBIs the following morning in Hilbert’s 7-1 victory over Regis.
