Emily Gawlak cleared the glass while leading the Hawks on the scoreboard as she earned her sixth career Hawk of the Week honor in basketball.

Gawlak totaled 31 points, 26 rebounds, five steals, six assists and two blocked shots as the Hawks continued their winning streak.  She averaged 15.5 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and 2.5 steals in Hilbert’s victories over D’Youville (61-42) and Greensburg (72-52) which pushed the Hawks AMCC win-streak to 13 games.

Gawlak knocked down 16 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double against D'Youville and closed the week scoring 15 points while earning game-high honors with 17 rebounds vs Greensburg.

The Mt. Mercy product averaged 34.5 minute of pure hustle helping her team secure the program's first-ever bye and spot in the AMCC Championship final four as they carry a 15-1 league record (18-5 overall) into the final week of the regular season.
