Logan Yotter was selected as the Hawk of the Week based on his outstanding performance at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship race this weekend.

The sophomore from Lockport set a new personal record when he crossed the finish line in 32:34 October 28 at the Evangola State Park.  Yotter trimmed over two minutes off his opening 8K race on the same course back on September 16 when Hilbert hosted the Experience Evangola race.

Yotter, who was able to train and race injury free this year, lowered his times each week and cut 50-seconds off his previous best record which he set at the Mike Woods Invite September 30 hosted by SUNY Geneseo at Letchworth State Park.

Yotter became a steady force in the first-five for Hilbert and was part of the team who set two new records at the championship meet.  The 99 Points/3rd Place finish established the programs lowest point total and the program’s highest finish.
