Eric Flores has been steady all season long on the diamond, but last week his star shined a little brighter as he earned his first career Hawk of the Week honor.
The junior outfielder hit .438 and had a .526 on base percentage all while having a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on 14 putouts. In five games, Flores notched three multi-hit games, six RBI and stole three bases.
The San Diego, CA native played a key role in the Hawks’ 6-4 win over Alfred State April 22 when he went 2-for-3 with a walk, three stolen bass and added one RBI and one run scored. Earlier in the week, Flores went 3-for-4 with three RBIs against Bradford.
Flores is third on the team with a .305 average and has posted four doubles and one triple along with 12 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
