Sophomore Michael Podgorny had a huge week for the men’s volleyball team and earned his third Hawk of the Week honor this season.

The 6-2 outside hitter collected 51 kills and finished the week with a .215 attack percentage.  He posted six total blocks and earned two service aces to accumulate 57.5 points at the conclusion of 14 sets.   He led the Hawks with 3.64 kills and 2.00 digs with a 4.1 points per set mark.

Hilbert suffered three straight, 3-set defeats to Thiel, Wells and SUNY Poly before they challenged Keuka in a five-set thriller.  Podgorny set two new career-high stats with 23 kills and 15 digs against Keuka.  He also added one service ace and two solo blocks in the loss to the Wolves.
