Kelsi Ebert did a lot of everything in back-to-back games last week and earned her second consecutive Hawk of the Week honor as she helped the women’s basketball team to a 1-1 record.
Ebert averaged 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. The junior guard shot 38 percent from the field but was better beyond the 3-point line as she connected on 50-percent of her shots.
In the Hawks five point loss to Fredonia, Ebert tallied 19 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals. She sank 7-of-11 free throws and found six buckets inside arc.
On Saturday at Alfred, the junior guard scored 20 points, shooting 45% from the floor which included a pair of 3-point shots, and hit 8-of-9 free throws, guiding Hilbert to an 84-65 victory. She added four assists and four steals in the road win.
