Kelsi Ebert earned her third Hawk of the Week honor thanks to her all-around play and leadership on the court with the women’s basketball team in their first week of the new season.

Ebert scored 15 points in the Hawks’ opening victory over Elmira November 15. The junior guard from Hamburg went 7-for-13 from the floor and added five rebounds and three assists as Hilbert claimed a 77-65 win.  Then her all-around effort kept Hilbert in both games down in Raleigh, NC at William Peace’s Jackie Ammon Memorial Tournament. 

Ebert struggled from the floor against Huntingdon but she made up for it with smart play and effort on defense.  The junior guard finished with six points, six rebounds and two assists without committing any turnovers in 29 minutes of action.  She found her shooting touch in the consolation game against Berry as she hit seven of 13 shots from the floor, sinking both long balls and free throws attempted, and grabbed six rebounds again in the 67-64 loss.
