Morgan Ott’s all-around play on the volleyball court helped her to earn her first Hawk of the Week honor this year.
The Milan, Ohio native paced the volleyball team’s offense, kicked in a few points from the service line and played defense for the Hawks who went 1-4 last week.
The 5-10 setter earned 15 kills, 125 assists, four service aces, 36 digs and four total blocks (one solo).
Ott posted five kills and 41 assists along with 13 digs in Hilbert’s 3-2 loss to Maine Fort Kent Saturday. The academic senior produced four kills and 26 assists (six digs) in the Hawks straight-set victory over Cazenovia College Monday.
In her three year athletic career, Ott is currently ranked #2 in assists (1083), 8th in service aces (88), #9 in digs (552), #6 in block assists and has broken into the top 10 in matches played (78).
