Amanda Binder strong hitting at the net and leadership on the court helped her earn her 6th Hawk of the Week honor in her four-year career.

The Middle Blocker recorded 20 kills (2.5 kills per set average) while hitting at a .302 clip in two defeats for the women’s volleyball team over the weekend. 
The 5’11 senior was credited with 16 kills in the five-set heartbreaking loss to Marietta College with a .344 hitting percentage.  She block assisted for a trio of points and added one service ace to keep the Hawks in the game till the end.

Earlier in the day, the Fremont, OH native accounted for four of Hilbert’s 13 kills in the three-set loss to Hiram.
