Rachel Allen dominated the circle over the weekend and earned her first Hawk of the Week honor.

The rookie pitcher covered 11 innings with a 3.82 era in two complete games during the week.

The Tonawanda native closed the week with 10 strike-outs in five inning game against Franciscan getting nine batters swinging.  She knocked down six straight batters, stretched from the 1st inning through to the third inning, all on swings.

Early in the week, Allen went the distance against Medaille in an 8-7 loss, giving up five earned runs off six hits and six strike outs.
