Anthony Wurstner had a strong hitting day against Fredonia and for his efforts has been selected the Hawk of the Week.

The West Seneca native went 3-for-4 in the seven inning game April 6th.   Hilbert and Fredonia attempted to out-run the rain but eventually got lost in the puddles.  Wurstner hit a pair of doubles which moved runners and added an RBI to his career total. 

The junior outfielder hit a single in the first inning along with an RBI double in the third inning and eventually scored, putting the Hawks on the board.   He added his second double in the fifth but was stranded there before he gave the Hawks their second out in the top of the 7th with the rain taking over the field.
