Podgorny picked-up his second Hawk of the Week honor after leading the his volleyball team in a make-or-break NEAC weekend of competition.

Michael Podgorny (Grand Island) smacked a team-high 44 kills, leading the Hawks to a 2-1 record in games played in Utica.  In victories over SUNY Poly and Wells, Hilbert moved back to .500 (9-9) and pushed their NEAC record to 6-5.

Podgorny posted a double-double with 17 kills and 15 digs in a five-set victory against SUNY Poly.   He also added 16 kills against Wells and 11 against Keuka.
