Carroccia was named the Hawk of the Week for the second time in his three-year career as he helped the Hawks to a 3-5 record to start the season.

Sal Carroccia (Lancaster) went 2-0 in his two starts during the Hawks’ eight game spring training sesson down in Fort Pierce, Florida.  Carroccia threw 14.2 innings and allowed 13 hits, one walk and only five runs.

In the 10-8 victory over Delaware Valley, Carroccia tossed 6.2 inning and struck out seven and then four days later, on March 11, the southpaw went eight innings and gave up two earned runs against Geneva.
