Ashley Viengmay earned her first Hawk of the Week honor after five impressive defensive performances for the volleyball team last week. 

She averaged 4.2 digs per set during the home game against Geneseo mid-week and at the Golden Flyer Invitational tournament over the weekend.  The super-senior corralled 63 digs in 15 sets as she posted double-digit digs in four of the five 3-set matches. 

The Defensive Specialist picked up 18 digs vs. Hartwick last week, which turned out to be her third highest total this season.

Viengmay is ranked 7th in the AMCC league in digs per set (4.19) through two weeks of play.
