For the second time this season, John Macchia has been selected as the Hilbert Athlete of the Week, October 7th. In his first season as a Hawk, the junior finished in a two-way tie for 1st place at the Glen Oak Country Club’s par 72 course with a 76 card. Macchia has been Hilbert’s most consistent finisher in four of the six matches played to date and his number one finish marks the first time a Hawk golf claimed a medal in several seasons.
